Creating Your Personal Vida Account
Download the Vida app from the App Store or Google Play store.
Once you have downloaded the app, open the app and complete the following steps:
- Enter the invitation code provided via email.
- Create your login credentials (email address and password).
- Complete your contact information (FN, LN, Mobile Number and Zip Code).
- Scroll to the bottom of the Terms of Service and click Accept.
Data Sharing Consent
Agreeing to Data Sharing Consent enables the Loan Officer and HomeScout to see a current Credit Score band, previous month's Credit Score band, and Property Value for a user who has agreed.
If you do not wish to share these data points with HomeScout, you may click Decline. You will still have full access to all features of Vida.
These settings may be changed at any time by opening the hamburger menu:
- Click Settings.
- Click Privacy.
- Turn the toggle on or off.
- Save your changes.
- Turn the toggle on or off.
- Click Privacy.
Setting Up Your Account
Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) requires you to validate your cell phone number by entering the 6-digit code sent to you via SMS message.
Validate your email address by clicking the Verify Account link sent to your email address from no-reply@finlocker.com. IMPORTANT NOTE - If you log in before verifying your email address, you will be sent a new verification email and link.
After your email has been verified, you may begin to navigate around your Vida account by logging into the app.
Kickstart Your Vida Account
We encourage you to enroll your credit in the app. Once enrolled, you may access the following features:
- Credit Score, Credit Report and Credit Monitoring.
- A breakdown of the various factors that impact your credit score.
- Simulate Score - Run "What If?" scenarios against your credit data.
We also encourage you to enroll all of your financial accounts, such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans, auto loans, mortgages and utilities. Once enrolled, you may take advantage of the following features:
- Single aggregated view of all financial accounts.
- Create custom budgets and/or savings goals.
- Analyze spending across all enrolled accounts.
- Activate your net worth widget.
If you own property, link to that property to track the value and estimated equity (if you have not already enrolled your mortgage, now would be a good time to do so.)
